Wootalyzer is a software shopping aid. It allows you to check current woot-offs of several shopping websites. A woot-off is a one-day sale. It was first introduced by woot.com. They always have deals that sell out really quick. So, Wootalyzer was designed to keep track of those and allow you to buy items quickly. However, Wootalyzer also supports several other sites than woot.com. The most well-known ones are Newegg, Amazon, Thing fling, UneeTee, etc. The sites range from technology to clothing and various other sites.
The graphical user interface couldn't be any simpler. It is a window with information about the sale. On the left there is an image of the item, with its price, stock status, and time left before the next item begins. There are two working modes for Wootalyzer. The regular one allows you to browse through sales, and the Woot-off mode sounds a loud siren whenever a new item is available, so you can be among the first ones to see it and hopefully be able to buy. Performance-wise, Wootalyzer seems fast and information about the sales is always precise. You can jump to an item in your web browser by clicking "View Item." This is an ideal tool for all shoppers.
